Andy Miller's head is jammed full of stuff.

That is how the UK transplant and Columbus-native, described his condition. I happen to agree with him, and it doesn’t take long to figure out that he’s not kidding. Andy has had his hands in a little bit of everything over the last couple of years, from music to design to illustration to starting his own company. Add all of that on top of his marriage to Sophie, the birth of Dot, graduating from university, finding new life through his faith, and planning their move back to Columbus. And while one may expect the weight of such heavy affairs and responsibility to completely encumber and weigh-down one person, Andy uses it as the force behind his explosive and imaginative creativity.

For as eclectic and non-sensical as Andy’s illustrative musings are, there is a calculated, deliberate discipline to his work and his approach. This is apparent in the wildly popular Indie Rock Coloring Book that Miller spent nearly two years designing and running with. The coloring book is a collaborative effort with the Yellow Bird Project that highlights Indie Rock’s most notable musicians through a colorful escapade in which all of the proceeds go to charity.

Russell Lissack, of Bloc Party, said about the Coloring Book, “I like coloring books. I also like charity. So as you can imagine, I definitely like this!”

Matt Berninger, of The National adds, “This is the greatest coloring book since coloring was invented. I've decided to have kids just so I'll have somebody to give this book to.”

While the Indie Rock Coloring Book is making waves, Andy continues on into new creative ventures for both new and aspiring companies and artists, as well as larger established companies, offering both a burst of new life and imagination.
